Zheng Chong Lin was a Chinese Muslim migrant to Thailand who contributed greatly to the Thai society. He was responsible for building many public works in Thailand. He also helped to build a railroad between Bangkok and Chiang Mai and also gave land for building the Chiang Mai airport. He was given the honorific title of Khun by the King of Thailand.
